Welcome to our team website. This site will be used to share team wide and individual classroom information during the school year. We are so excited to welcome our new class of 6th graders to Brittany Woods. Below are team expectations and procedures that will also be shared with students during the first week at Brittany Woods. Consequences
Entering Class:
- Students preparing to enter the classroom must line up on the wall or lockers designated by that teacher. The teacher will give you permission to enter the classroom.
- Students are TARDY, if they are not seated in the classroom when the bell rings.
- Once students enter the classroom, they are to immediately sit down, take out their homework and make it visible on their desk.
- Then, students should begin their Do Now.
- For pencil sharpening or any activity that requires students to get out of their seats, permission must be given from the teacher.
- If a student is tardy or is missing homework, that student will be assigned a team lunch detention the very next day

- Respect the Leadership
Leaving Class:
- Students will wait for dismissal from the teacher, not the bell.
- Classrooms that are not completely quiet will not be dismissed.
- Once in the hallways, students are to WALK on the right side of the hall. Running is NOT permitted.
- If a restroom break is needed, students must go to the restroom closest to their classroom.
- You are to proceed to your next class in a peaceful manner and line up in the designated area.
